Chicken Adobo - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 chicken thighs
    1/2 c. vinegar
    1 c. water
    5 Tbsp. soy sauce
    1 head garlic, crushed
    12 pieces peppercorn, crushed
    1 bay leaf
Preparation
    Marinate chicken in vinegar, soy sauce, peppercorn and 1/2 garlic.
    Add water and simmer, uncovered, until tender.
    Strain sauce; separate the sauce from meat.
    Allow to cool.
    To reduce sauce, cook in open saucepan; simmer until sauce thickens with bay leaf.
    Heat cooking oil; brown meat and half garlic.
    Pour sauce over chicken.
    Serve with rice.
