Perfect Cornbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. flour
    4 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. yellow cornmeal
    1 c. milk
    1/4 c. sugar
    3/4 tsp. salt
    2 eggs
    1/4 soft shortening
Preparation
    Sift flour with sugar, baking powder and salt.\tStir in cornmeal; add
    eggs,
    milk\tand
    shortening.
    Beat\twith mixer until just smooth,\tabout
    1
    minute.
    Do
    not overbeat.
    Pour into greased 9-inch pan and bake at 425\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes.
