Vanilla Sauce - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 Tbsp. cornstarch
1/3 c. brown sugar
1 c. milk
1/2 tsp. vanilla
nutmeg to taste (my family likes lots)
Preparation

Combine cornstarch and brown sugar well.
Add milk gradually, blending smooth.
Cook over medium-high heat until thick, stirring to prevent lumps.
Remove from heat.
Add butter, vanilla and nutmeg.
