"Skordalia" Garlic Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 to 4 cloves garlic
    2/3 c. shelled walnuts
    2/3 c. bread crumbs
    1 1/2 Tbsp. vinegar
    1/4 c. oil
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 to 2 Tbsp. cold water
Preparation
    Pound the garlic with the salt and walnuts until well blended and creamy.
    If you like the taste of chopped nuts, just mix the chopped nuts with the salt and garlic, which you put through a garlic press.
    Add the bread crumbs with oil, a little at a time, then the vinegar and finally the cold water.
    Put enough water to make the mixture soft like a paste.
