New Orleans Green Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. converted rice
    1 bay leaf
    1/4 c. minced green onions
    1/2 c. sliced white onion
    1/2 c. fresh chopped parsley
    1 c. chopped celery
    1/2 stick butter
Preparation
    Cook rice
    according to package directions, but add bay leaf to the
    cooking
    water.
    When
    done
    remove the bay leaf. Saute green onion, white\tonion, parsley and celery in butter, in a large frying
    pan;\tcook
    slightly so celery stays crisp. Add cooked rice and blend together.
    Serves 6.
