Donut Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 1/2 tsp. shortening
1/2 c. sugar
1 egg
1/2 c. milk
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. nutmeg

Preparation

Cream together shortening and sugar.
Add egg; beat well.
Mix and sift dry ingredients together.
Add alternately with milk.
