Cornbread Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. melted butter
    1/2 c. melted shortening
    2 c. flour
    3/4 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
    3 eggs
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
    1 tsp. almond flavoring
Preparation
    Mix sugar, butter and shortening until smooth. Sift flour, baking powder, soda and salt together.
    Add flour mixture and buttermilk to sugar mixture alternately.
    Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each.
    Add vanilla and almond flavorings.
    Mix well.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 until toothpick comes out clean and is golden brown.
