Blackberry Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening
    2 c. sugar
    3 eggs
    4 c. all-purpose flour
    2 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. allspice
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    1 tsp. cloves
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 3/4 c. blackberries
    12 Tbsp. berry juice
Preparation
    Using a box cake mix of whatever kind you wish to make, bake according to box directions; make 2 layers.
    Cool completely.
    Cut the 2 layers of cake into 4 layers and frost with the following frosting.
