Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. white sugar
    1/2 c. white syrup
    1/2 c. water
    1 c. raw peanuts
    2 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Combine sugar, syrup and water.
    (Cook until forms soft ball in
    cold water.) Add peanuts; cook until golden brown in color. Add
    soda
    and
    vanilla.
    Have
    a
    sheet
    pan slightly greased. Pour
    in and let stand until it gets cold.
    I put in deep
    freeze and
    use an old-fashioned tin skillet to cook it in.
