Hamburger-Country Style Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. hamburger
    salt to taste
    1/4 c. flour
    3 to 4 Tbsp. plain flour
    3 to 4 Tbsp. melted shortening
    2 c. water
Preparation
    Mix meat, 3 to 4 tablespoons flour and salt; shape into patties.
    Roll each patty with rolling pin on floured board (about 1/4-inch thick).
    Brown on both sides in shortening.
    Remove meat and pour off all but 2 to 3 tablespoons fat in pan.
    Add 1/4 cup flour and allow to brown.
    Stir occasionally.
    Add water and cook until thickened.
    Layer meat and gravy in casserole dish.
    Cover and bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 45 minutes.
    Serves 5 or 6.
