Jewish Apple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 large apples, sliced
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    5 Tbsp. sugar
    nuts
    3 c. flour
    2 1/2 c. sugar or 1/2 c. sugar + 1/3 c. orange juice
    1 c. oil or applesauce
    4 eggs or 1 box Egg Beaters
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/3 c. orange juice
    2 1/2 tsp. vanilla
    3 1/2 tsp. baking powder
Preparation
    Mix apples, cinnamon, 5 tablespoons sugar and nuts and set aside.
    Grease and flour pan.
    Beat flour, remaining sugar, oil, eggs, salt, orange juice, vanilla and baking powder.
    Beat 5 to 8 minutes.
    Layer dough and apples.
    Start in cold oven at 350\u00b0; bake for 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
