Baked Country Ham - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 country ham
    2 qt. water
    1 c. molasses (optional)
Preparation
    Soak ham for 24 hours in cold water.
    Take out of water and place in roaster pan.
    Mix 2 quarts of water and 1 cup of molasses together and pour over ham.
    Place 2 layers of heavy duty aluminum foil over ham and place lid on roaster.
    Preheat oven to 500\u00b0. Put ham in oven and time for 30 minutes.
    Turn oven off after 30 minutes and wait 3 hours and turn oven back on and let it reach 500\u00b0 again and time for 30 minutes.
    Then turn oven off and leave ham in overnight, 2:00 PM is a good time to start this recipe.
    Do not open oven after you start!
