Relish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    25 medium cucumbers
    15 bell peppers
    12 onions
    3 Tbsp. salt
    water
    6 c. sugar
    1 qt. vinegar
Preparation
    Cut up cucumbers, peppers and onions; soak in salt water for 1 hour, then rinse and drain.
    Mix sugar and vinegar; drop first 3 ingredients in and bring to a boil.
    Pack in jars and seal.
