Rice With Artichoke Hearts - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can artichoke hearts, drained and chopped
    2 tsp. olive oil
    1/4 c. chopped mushrooms
    1 small onion, chopped
    1 clove garlic, chopped
    2 Tbsp. fresh basil, chopped (3/4 tsp. dried)
    2 whole tomatoes, chopped, peel if desired
    2 c. chicken broth
    1 c. rice
    1/2 c. Parmesan cheese
    1 1/2 Tbsp. margarine
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Heat oil.
    Saute mushrooms until their liquid evaporates.
    Add onion and saute 2 minutes.
    Add garlic, basil, tomatoes and 1/2 cup stock.
    Bring to boil.
    Simmer 10 minutes.
