Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. water
    1 c. corn syrup
    1 tsp. butter
    2 c. shelled, raw peanuts
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/2 tsp. soda
Preparation
    Mix sugar, water and corn syrup.
    Cook to soft ball stage. Add butter and raw peanuts.
    Continue cooking until syrup turns golden brown or hard crack stage.
    Remove from heat and add vanilla and soda.
    Stir until it foams.
    Pour quickly into greased tins.
    Cool.
    Break into pieces.
