One Dish Chicken 'N Gravy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 to 3 1/2 lb. fryer, cut up
    1/4 c. flour
    1/4 c. melted butter
    8 to 10 small cooked onions (canned)
    1/4 lb. sliced mushrooms
    2/3 c. Carnation milk
    1 (10 oz.) can mushroom soup
    1 c. grated cheese
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Dip chicken in flour.
    Place, skin side down, in melted butter in 2-quart shallow baking dish.
    Bake, uncovered, in a 425\u00b0 oven for 30 minutes.
    Turn chicken and bake 15 to 20 minutes longer. Pour off excess fat.
    Add onions and mushrooms.
