Black Forest Trifle - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 small pkg. chocolate fudge pudding mix (not instant)
3 3/4 c. milk
1 (20 oz.) can cherry pie filling
1 1/2 c. cookie crumbs (made from chocolate chip cookies)

Preparation

In a saucepan, prepare pudding according to package directions, using 3 3/4 cups milk.
Remove from heat and cover surface of pudding with plastic wrap to prevent a skin from forming.
Let cool 30 minutes.
