Chocolate Buttermilk Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. butter or margarine
1/4 c. unsweetened cocoa
1 c. water
2 c. sugar
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. soda
2 eggs, beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
3 to 4 drops red food coloring (optional)

Preparation

In a saucepan, bring butter, cocoa and water to a boil.
Cool.
