Pepper Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 lb. round steak
    1 1/2 c. catsup
    3 green peppers
    onion
    2 Tbsp. oil
    1 clove garlic (garlic powder can be substituted)
    1 1/2 c. water
Preparation
    Cut round steak in thin strips, 1/4-inch by length of steak 4-inches or so.
    Brown in oil and season with garlic.
    Add catsup, mixed with water.
    Simmer 1 hour, adding water when necessary, depending on your desire for gravy.
    Cut green peppers in inch squares.
    Add peppers and onion Chinese way (sliced top to bottom).
    Cook about 10 minutes longer.
    Serve over rice.
