Bran Muffins - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (15 oz.) box Bran Flakes (save 1 c.)
1 c. melted canola shortening
3 c. sugar
4 eggs, beaten
1 qt. buttermilk
5 c. flour
5 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. salt
1 c. raisins
Preparation

Mix Bran Flakes, sugar, soda, salt and flour in large bowl. Add beaten eggs, shortening and buttermilk.
Mix well.
Fold in raisins.
Bake at 400\u00b0 for 15 to 20 minutes.
Mix will keep in refrigerator in a covered bowl for up to 6 weeks before baking.
