Oatmeal Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. margarine or fat
    1 egg
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. white sugar
    2 Tbsp. buttermilk
    1 1/2 c. rolled oats
    1 c. chopped raisins or nuts
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. soda
    pinch of salt
Preparation
    Cream
    the
    shortening and sugar until creamy.\tAdd the egg and
    beat into the mixture.
    Add the flour with the other dry ingredients.
    Mix
    well.
    Add
    oats,
    raisins
    and\tnuts. Mixture will be thick.
    Add the milk.
    Drop on greased cookie sheet with a teaspoon.
    Grease the cookie sheet before putting the cookies on it.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 until brown.
