Ingredients

4 qt. unpeeled cucumbers
4 large green peppers
4 large onions
1/3 c. salt
3 c. white vinegar
1 1/2 tsp. turmeric
4 c. sugar
garlic and cloves to taste the flavor
1 1/2 tsp. celery seed
Preparation

Chop cucumbers fine; add salt; cover cucumbers with ice and let stand for 3
hours.
Chop onions and pepper very fine; set aside.
In large pot heat vinegar, sugar, turmeric, celery seed and cloves;
bring
to a boil; add chopped vegetables and simmer 15 minutes.
Can and seal.
