Kentucky Bourbon Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 lb. butter
1 lb. confectioners sugar
4 c. flour
1/2 c. molasses
1 Tbsp. nutmeg
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. soda
1 c. bourbon
6 eggs, beaten separately
8 oz. raisins
8 oz. chopped dates
1 lb. chopped pecans
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar.
Add eggs; beat until smooth.
Add flour, soda, baking powder and nutmeg with bourbon and molasses. Mix in dates, raisins and pecans.
Bake at 275\u00b0 for 1 hour in a 10-inch tube pan or 2 loaf pans.
