Broccoli Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large onion, chopped
    1/2 stick butter
    3 chicken bouillon cubes
    12 oz. vermicelli noodles
    2 pkg. frozen chopped broccoli
    6 c. water
    6 c. milk
    1 lb. Velveeta cheese
    1 tsp. garlic powder
    pepper to taste
Preparation
    Melt butter.
    Brown onion on low heat.
    Do not let butter brown.
    Add water and bouillon cubes.
    Boil.
    Add noodles, garlic and broccoli.
    Stir until separated.
    Simmer 15 to 20 minutes. Add milk and simmer until hot.
    Add cheese and melt.
