Candied Sweets - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 medium sweet potatoes
    1 c. light brown sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. oleo or butter
    1/4 c. water
Preparation
    Parboil potatoes 15 minutes, peel and cut in half lengthwise. Place in a baking dish.
    Combine sugar, salt, oleo and water. Boil for 3 minutes.
    Pour syrup over potatoes.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 to 1 1/4 hours.
