Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/3 c. shortening
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. milk
    3 eggs
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. Karo syrup (blue label)
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. pecans
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugar together.
    Add rest of ingredients, adding one beaten egg at a time. Pour into unbaked pie shell. Bake at 425\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
    Reduce heat to 350\u00b0 and bake for 25 minutes.
