Chocolate Covered Cherries - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. margarine, softened
    1 box powdered sugar
    1/2 c. chopped maraschino cherries
    1/4 tsp. almond extract
    1 (12 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate morsels
Preparation
    Cream together the margarine and sugar.
    Add cherries and almond extract.
    Form into 1/2-inch balls.
    Insert toothpick and chill until firm.
    Melt chocolate in double boiler; add paraffin wax if too thick.
    Dip balls in chocolate.
    Let cool on wax paper.
