Hearty Taco Dip - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 lb. ground beef
1 (16 oz.) can refried beans
1 large onion, chopped
2/3 c. chile salsa or taco sauce
2 tsp. chili powder
1 tsp. seasoned salt
1 (4 oz.) can chopped green chilies
2 c. grated Cheddar or Jack cheese or combination of both
Preparation

Fry ground beef and onion until brown and crumbly.
Drain well.
In baking dish, mix browned meat and onion with beans, 1/2 the salsa, all seasonings, all chopped chilies and half the cheese.
Smooth out top of mixture and sprinkle with remaining grated cheese.
Drizzle remaining salsa over top of cheese.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
Serve with chips.
(Dip can be garnished with sour cream and guacamole.)
