Swiss Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. round steak
    1 (1 lb.) can tomatoes
    1/2 c. bell pepper, chopped
    1/2 c. onion, chopped
    3 Tbsp. flour
    1/4 c. oleo
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. pepper
    6 oz. shredded Mozzarella cheese (optional)
Preparation
    Beat steak, cut into serving pieces and salt and pepper and coat with flour.
    Melt oleo (large pan) and brown meat slowly. Add tomatoes; cover; simmer 1 hour.
    Add onion, peppers; cover and simmer 30 minutes.
    Stir occasionally.
