Pecan Cream Drops - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick oleo
    1/2 c. canned milk
    1 1/2 c. pecans
    pinch of salt
    2 1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. light corn syrup
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Put all ingredients, except pecans and vanilla in pan.
    When mixture begins to boil, time for 3 minutes.
    Remove from heat. Add pecans and vanilla.
    Beat by hand until thick enough to drop by teaspoonfuls onto waxed paper.
