Seasoned Vegetable Medley - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. fresh green beans (1 1/2-inch cut pieces)
    1 medium onion, chopped (1/2 c.)
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. leaf tarragon, crumbled
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1 c. chicken broth
    2 tomatoes, cut into 8 wedges
    1/2 lb. mushrooms, thickly sliced
Preparation
    Combine green beans, onion, salt, tarragon, pepper and chicken broth in medium-size saucepan.
    Pour in water to just cover beans. Bring to boiling.
    Lower heat.
    Cover and simmer 3 minutes or until beans are crisp-tender. Add tomatoes and mushrooms. Simmer 7 minutes or until mushrooms are tender. Drain and serve.
