Lettuceless Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 egg
    1 Tbsp. white vinegar
    2 tsp. Dijon mustard
    1 clove garlic, halved
    1 tsp. dill seed
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. dried thyme
    1/2 tsp. dried marjoram
    1/2 tsp. dried basil
    1/2 c. oil
    1 c. buttermilk
    2 c. mayonnaise
Preparation
    Combine egg, vinegar, mustard, garlic, salt and herbs in blender or food processor and blend well.
    Add oil and buttermilk and continue to blend.
    Transfer to bowl and whisk in mayonnaise.
