Hobo Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    20 lb. round steak, cubed
    1 large canning kettle full of potatoes, cut up
    4 gal. cans mixed vegetables
    1 gal. can green beans
    1 gal. can whole kernel corn
    1 gal. can butter beans
    3 gal. cans tomatoes
    2 gal. cans carrots
    1 large bundle celery, chopped
    15 large onions, chopped
    1 (3 oz.) bottle Gebhardt chili powder
    2 Tbsp. garlic powder
    1 (.43 oz.) bottle sweet basil leaves
    1 (10 oz.) bottle Lea & Perrins Worcestershire
    salt and pepper to taste
    2 large bell peppers, chopped
Preparation
    Brown cubed steak in large skillet.
    Saute onions and bell pepper.
    Put all in iron wash pot on campfire.
    Add meat, onions and all the ingredients.
    Cover with water and let cook in wash pot approximately 3 hours.
    Will feed about 100 people.
    Serve with cornbread.
    May need to add more water as it cooks.
