Tomato Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 pie shell
3 to 6 ripe peeled tomatoes (medium or 3 large)
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. basil
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/2 c. mayonnaise
2 c. grated Cheddar or Swiss cheese
Preparation

Bake pie shell at 425\u00b0 for 5 minutes.
Reduce heat to 400\u00b0. Place tomatoes sliced thick into crust.
Add salt, pepper, basil and onion.
Mix mayonnaise and cheese.
Spread over top of pie. Bake for 35 minutes or until browned.
