Walnut Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 eggs
1 c. dark corn syrup
3/4 c. sugar
1 c. butter, melted
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. walnuts
1 (9-inch) baked pie shell
Preparation

In a medium bowl, beat together eggs, corn syrup, sugar, butter, vanilla and salt.
Arrange walnuts on bottom of pie shell. Carefully pour egg mixture over walnuts.
Bake on bottom rack of preheated 400\u00b0 oven until a knife inserted near the center comes out clean, about 30 to 35 minutes.
Cool on wire rack. Serves 6 to 8.
