Homemade Ice Cream(1 Hour And 30 Minutes) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. milk
    4 c. (2 pt.) whipping cream
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    5 eggs
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1/8 tsp. salt
Preparation
    In 3-quart saucepan, combine milk and whipping cream.
    Cook over low heat until warm (6 to 8 minutes).
    In large mixer bowl, combine all remaining ingredients.
    Beat at medium speed, scraping bowl often, until smooth (2 to 3 minutes).
    Gradually stir into milk mixture.
    Cool to room temperature.
    Pour into ice cream canister.
    Freeze in ice cream maker according to manufacturer's directions.
    Yield:
    3 quarts.
