Three Fruit Jam - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. chopped pears
    2 c. chopped peaches
    2 c. chopped apples
    1 tsp. butter
    2 Tbsp. lemon juice
    6 c. sugar
    1 pkg. Sure-Jell
    5 drops yellow food coloring
Preparation
    Combine fruit and lemon juice in 4-quart saucepan.
    Cook, stirring until it is almost tender.
    Stir in sugar, powdered pectin, butter and food coloring.
    Bring to a rolling boil, stirring constantly.
    Boil for 10 to 12 minutes.
    Remove from heat and skim off foam.
    Ladle into sterilized jars, leaving 1/2-inch space at top.
    Seal with paraffin.
    Makes 8 (6 ounce) glasses.
