Pecan Tarts - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. hot water
    2 Tbsp. butter
    2 1/2 Tbsp. flour
    1 c. milk
    1/8 tsp. salt
    2 eggs, slightly beaten
Preparation
    Boil together the brown sugar and hot water for 10 minutes. Cool and add the butter, flour, milk, salt and eggs.
    Cook all together in a double boiler until thick and smooth, stirring constantly.
    Cool and add 1 teaspoon vanilla extract and 1/2 cup pecan meats, chopped.
    Put 2 tablespoons of mixture in prepared (baked) tart shells.
    Garnish with 1/2 cup whipped cream, sweetened with 1 tablespoon of powdered sugar and put a whole pecan on top.
    Fills about 1 dozen shells.
    Delicious!
