Carrot Ring With Peas - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. grated carrot
    1 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. soft margarine
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 beaten egg
    1 c. flour
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients, mixing well.
    Place in a greased 5 1/2 cup ring mold.
    Bake in preheated 350\u00b0 oven for 45 minutes. Unmold and serve on platter with cooked peas in the center.
    This makes a very pretty vegetable to serve with chicken, fish or beef. You may make the ring and freeze.
    Reheat, fill with peas and serve immediately.
