Candied Sweet Potatoes & Apples - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 lb sweet potatoes, peeled
1 c packed light brown sugar
1 c butter or margarine
1/2 c apple cider
1/4 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla extract
3 large cooking apples, cored and cut into 1/2 inch rings
Preparation

Cut sweet potatoes in half crosswise.
Cook in boiling water to cover, for 10 minutes.
Drain and cool.
Cut crosswise into 1/2 inch slices.
