Hearty Potato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 medium potatoes, peeled and diced
    2 carrots, shredded
    6 celery stalks, diced
    2 qt. water
    1 onion, chopped
    6 Tbsp. butter
    6 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
    salt and pepper to taste
    2 c. sour cream
    2 chicken flavored bouillon cubes
Preparation
    In a large kettle, cook potatoes, carrots and celery in water with bouillon cubes until tender. Saute onions in butter until soft. Stir in flour and salt and pepper, gradually add sour cream, stirring constantly until desired consistency. If too thick, add plain milk.
    Yield: 2 1/2 quarts.
