Saturday Night Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 lb. ground chuck or other
    1 can drained whole kernel corn
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. softened cream cheese
    1 (10 1/2 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup
    1 (2 oz.) jar chopped pimentos
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    In a 2-quart casserole, combine onion and ground meat. Microwave 4 minutes on High (100%).
    In a separate bowl, combine the remaining ingredients, mixing well.
    Add to meat and onion, stirring to blend.
    Cover and microwave 8 minutes on High (100%) or simmer on stove.
    Serves 6 to 8.
