Louisiana Gumbo - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. chopped okra
    2 Tbsp. bacon drippings
    1 big onion
    1/2 bell pepper
    water
    small can tomato sauce
    seafood
    parsley
    green onion tips
    garlic powder, salt, black pepper and red pepper to taste
Preparation
    Brown okra in bacon drippings until okra is no longer gooey, stirring constantly (use 2 packages frozen okra and don't give up) Add onion and pepper, chopped; saute.
    Add a lot of water and a little tomato sauce; let boil gently for at least 2 hours.
    Add seafood, parsley, green onion tips and seasonings; cook until seafood is completely done (about 30 minutes).
    Turn off fire and add file.
    I use shrimp and 1 can of crabmeat; when I feel rich, I add oysters.
