Jam Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. flour
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 1/2 c. buttermilk
    1 tsp. soda
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. allspice
    1 1/2 c. raisins
    1 1/2 c. nuts
    1 1/2 c. figs
    1 c. jam
    4 eggs
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients and blend well.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 until done. Makes 3 layers.
