Coconut Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening
    2 c. sugar
    2 c. flour
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 can coconut
    5 eggs
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 tsp. coconut flavoring
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugar together.
    Add eggs, one at a time. Beat well after each.
    Sift dry ingredients.
    Add alternately with the buttermilk, coconut flavoring and coconut.
    Bake in a greased and floured stem pan for 50 minutes to 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
