Pumpkin Pie - cooking recipe

1/2 tsp salt
1 1/2 c milk
1/8 c molasses
2 eggs
1 c sugar
2 c pumpkin cooked and mashed
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp ginger
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1 tbsp cornstarch
1 tbsp melted butter
Preparation

Mix sugar, cornstarch and spices together in lg bowl. Add milk, eggs, butter and molasses. Stir well. Add pumpkin and mix until all blended together. Pour into uncooked pie shell. Bake at 425 degrees for 20 minutes and decrease heat to 375 for 1 hour or until a toothpick comes out clean when stuck into middle of the pie.
