Ratatouille - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 large zucchini, sliced 1/8-inch thick
    2 large yellow summer squash, sliced 1/8-inch thick
    2 large onions, cut in slivers
    1 (20 oz.) can stewed tomatoes
    1/2 c. water
    2 garlic cloves, minced
    1/8 tsp. crushed red pepper
    salt and pepper
    freshly grated Romano or Mozzarella cheese
Preparation
    Pour stewed tomatoes, water and spice in a large pot with garlic, pepper and crushed red pepper.
    When mixture comes to a boil, stir in onions, zucchini and yellow squash.
    Stew (boil) for 2 hours, stirring every 15 minutes.
    Serve in individual bowls; garnish with freshly grated cheese.
    Makes 6 to 8 servings.
