Navy Bean Soup(Crock-Pot) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. navy beans
    1 c. chopped onions
    3 sprigs celery
    1 lb. ham or smoked pork butt
    1 bay leaf
    1 tsp. salt
    6 whole peppercorns
Preparation
    Soak beans in water overnight.
    Combine all ingredients in cooker. Add water to cover. Cook on low 10 to 12 hours or on high 5 to 6 hours. Remove ham or pork from soup; cut into pieces and return to pot.
    Yields 8 to 10 servings.
