Caramel Corn - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. light brown sugar, firmly packed
1/2 c. light corn syrup
1/2 lb. butter
1/8 tsp. cream of tartar
1/2 tsp. salt
6 qt. popped popping corn
Preparation

In saucepan, combine brown sugar, corn syrup, butter, cream of tartar and salt.
Bring to boil over medium heat, stirring constantly.
Bring to hard ball stage, 260\u00b0.
Remove from heat; stir in baking soda, stirring quickly.
Pour over freshly popped corn in large pan.
Bake 1 hour at 200\u00b0.
Stir occasionally.
Turn onto waxed paper and break apart.
