Dillicious Pot Roast - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 slices bacon
    3 to 4 lb. beef pot roast
    1 tsp. lemon pepper marinade
    2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1 can golden mushroom soup
    1/2 c. dill pickle, chopped fine
Preparation
    In heavy saucepan, cook bacon until crisp.
    Drain off all but 2 tablespoons bacon drippings from pan.
    Crumble bacon; set aside. Sprinkle both sides of beef with lemon pepper marinade.
    Brown beef in bacon drippings.
    Combine mushroom soup, dill pickle and Worcestershire sauce; pour over browned meat.
    Cover; simmer for about 2 1/2 hours, or until meat is tender.
    Remove to warm platter.
    Sprinkle with crumbled bacon.
    Skim fat from gravy; serve with roast.
